Gagaloo in Vancouver

I feel like anything I say about this concert will be an understatement. I'm just going to leave it at that.

We felt left out of the Gaga fervor so we got lightning bolts painted on our faces. The costume that probably got the most attention was this chick's CAUTION tape bra and panty, complete with cigarette sunglasses. Oh, and this guy too, 'cause he got a special shout out from Gagaloo, herself.....

Fall 2010 Picks so far (and a potential dye job... for real this time)

top: Talula Babaton, trousers & shoes: vintage

Currently loving: Chunky heeled grandma loafers & Camel coloured trousers.

Found this spread in this month's Vogue, and loved the idea of the "updated classic". During a recent VV trip, I found these brown chunky grandma style loafers and the trousers. I find it funny that they're from Aldo circa the nineties -- they even say Made in Italy. I was skeptical about the pants, but I hate when you don't realize you have a find until you actually take it home. Oh well, no regrets here!

Also, I plan on actually dyeing my beloved Bal. I am SO relieved I did not follow through with the electric blue I was planning on. I am definitely aiming for a caramel brown. More details to follow!

I heart ChloƩ

top: Wilfred by Aritzia, trousers, belt & shoes: vintage

I think it's mainly the grass and the lighting that make me think of a Chloe ad. I recently found this belt at VV for something like a dollar 99. I was instantly drawn to it because of the buckle and how it looks so much like that coveted brass 'H' (if only on supple orange leather).

crush a bit, little bit

oversized tee: Talula by Aritzia, jeggings: True Religion, wedges: Zara

Possibly my ultimate favourite cover of this song. I got a youtube account just to comment on her vidz. I hope that's not scary...

camping, but not really

These are some photos of my recent camping trip with some of my favourite peeps:

Cultus Lake camping isn't really camping per se. We pretty much just slept outside in a tent on an air mattress, had hot showers, ate McDonald's, and visited the local Superstore and Wal Mart. Yup, one day in the wilderness was MORE than enough.
